The romantic comedy Chalo Ishq Ladaaye was released on December 27, 2002. The movie was directed by Aziz Sejawal and produced by Vijay Mehta. The lead roles of the movie were played by Govinda, Sanjay Suri, Rani Mukherjee and Kader Khan while Johny Lever and Mink were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Himesh Reshammiya and the songs were sung by Shobha Joshi, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik.

The movie Chalo Ishq Ladaaye features Govinda and Rani Mukherji in the lead roles who had also acted together earlier in the movies Hadh Kar Di Aapne and Pyaar Diwaana Hota Hai. The movie is full of drama, action and romance at regular intervals. The movie is directed by Aziz Sajawal who has earlier produced movies like Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri and Hero Hindustani. The story of the movie is about Pappu ( Govinda ), his grandmother Dadi ( Zora Segal ) and Sapna ( Rani Mukherji ).

Pappu and his Dadi have a very skeptical relationship while she keeps on slapping him on any and every occasion. Sapna plays the role of a famous actress in the film. Dadi’s dominance is evident from the fact that she allows Pappu to spend only Rs 50 for his monthly expenses. While Sapna plans to marry a leading industrialist Rahul ( Sanjay Suri ), Pappu is in love with Bobby ( Mink ), an orchestra singer. But their destiny has something else for them. They met accidentally and made a plan that lead to murder.
