Bollywood action thriller, Chand Bujh Gaya, directed by Sharique Minhaj and written by Qamruddin Falak was released on March 18, 2005. The movie starred Faisal Khan and Shama Sikander in lead roles while Mukesh Khanna, Sanam, Pratap Singh, Faraz Khan, Usman Raza, Kamya panjabi, Mukesh Ahuja, Shabnam Kapoor and Narendra Bedi also played significant characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was composed by the well known music director Ghulam Ali while the songs were rendered by Kumar sanu, Hariharan, Kavita krishnamurthy and Pamela jain.

Young and handsome Rahul Mehta ( Faisal Khan ) is living a wealthy lifestyle alongwith his father in Mumbai. His father wants him to get married with a girl named Meghna ( Aliza ), who is the only daughter of his businessman friend. But Rahul is in love with another beautiful girl named Saveen ( Shama Sikander ), who is the daughter of Imran jaffri ( Ishrat Ali ). Meghna reveals about Rahul and Saveen affair’s and decides to step aside. Rahul’s father also agrees for their marraige.

Rahul then goes to escort Saveen back home but at the Godhra railway station, some Islamic Extremists set the train on fire. Rahul and Saveen manage to save their life and take shelter in a journalist named Payal’s ( Sanam ) home. How they complete their journey and what difficultes they faces in their journey is the rest of the story.
