The movie Chhodon Naa Yaar has been released on October 5, 2007 and comes under the genre of adventure and horror. The movie which has been directed by Dilip Sood is produced by Sameer Gaikwad. The movie didn’t include any big star casts but included Jimmy Shergill and Kim Sharma in the lead roles. There were other supporting actors also like Farid Amiri, Vallabh Vyas and Kabir Sadanand. The music of the film has been directed by Anand Raj Anand and Ranjit Barot and the songs were sung by Anand Raj Anand, Daler Mehndi, Sukhwinder Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan.

Usually the name of the movie tells everything about it but in this case we are sure that you can not expect this film to belong to the genre of horror. There is a haunting soul in the movie which is on a mission to haunt the temple and the nearby forest. Ravi ( Jimmy Sheirgill ) is a person who didn’t want to live an ordinary life and thus decides to explore something that transformed his life to something he didn’t even expect. It is a story of three guys and some myth they were exploring.

Ravi along with Shiv ( Kabir ) and Sunny ( Farid ) were three college students doing their Mass Com from some Delhi college. They were required to produce some documentary in their final year. At that time they also heard about some myth in northern hills of India that took over whole of it. His girlfriend Rashmi ( Kim Sharma ) was not in favor of it as she feared something unexpected to happen. Ravi was also suggested not to go by his college professor Saxena ( Ahmed Khan ) but went on the trip with his friends. The joy ride turned into something that they didn’t even expect. Unforeseen and unexpected started to happen when they were in the forest. For them it was a time to fight their fears.
