Chori Chori was a romantic comedy released on August 1, 2003 under the banner of Om Shakti Combines. The movie was directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Raju Narula. The top roles in the movie were played by Ajay Devgan, Sonali Bendre, Rani Mukherjee and Kamini Kaushal while Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Shashikala were also there in the film. Music of the film was directed by Sajid-Wajid while the songs were sung by Alka Yagnik, Babul Supriyo, Afroz Bano, Fareeda Khan and Kumar Sanu.

The lead actor in the film Chori Chori, Ajay Devgan have started doing roles that go against his image of being an action hero. The actor got his image from the movies like Phool aur Kaante and Zakhm but his character in Chori Chori is altogether different. It is the first time that Ajay Devgan and Rani Mukerji worked together with this film. The story of the movie revolves around Ranbir ( Ajay Devgan ) and Khushi ( Rani Mukerji ) who are completely different persons.

Ranbir works as an architect in a Delhi firm and belongs to the most loving and caring family consisting of Kamini Kaushal, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Tiku Talsania and Smita Jaykar. Khushi also works in Delhi as a hostess in a banquet hall. The two actors Ranbir and Khushi came across each other unexpectedly on the lone street. Khushi is an orphan raised by a group of traditional North Indian wedding singers and thus wanted her soul mate to be a person like she is, soft and loving.
