Bollywood fantasy flick, Chota Jadugar, directed by Jose Punnoose and written by Rajiv Kumar was released on April 11, 2003. The movie starred Sooraj Balaji and S. P. Balasubramaniam in lead roles while Julia Rusatsky, Al Diorio, Owen Burke, Justin Melvin, Barkley and Pooja Kumar also played important characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was directed by the music director duo Jagan-Sarath while the songs were rendered by Leslie Fernandes etc.

Indrajeet ( Sooraj Balaji ) is living alongwith his grandfather, Mr. Acharya ( S. P. Balasubramaniam ). He is been living with his grandfather since his mother’s death. His father , Krishna ( Trilok Malik ), is in abroad. indrajeet’s family is well known for their mastery in doing magic tricks and Indrajeet is also a master at it. Indrajeets’ father, Krishna get married to a women named Deepti and then ask Indrajeet to visit to him. Indrajeet intially refuse to go there but later agrees.

A few months later, Indrajeet calls his grandfather and tells him that he has run away from the house as he was being illtreated by his father. Mr. Acharya visits Usa in order to find Indrajeet but get shocked to learn tat he has been captured by an evil man, who wants a huge amount of money in return of Indrajeet. What he will do now? How he will free Indrajeet from the evil man’s hostage?
