The social movie Corporate was released on July 7, 2006 under the banners of Sahara One and Sahara One Motion Pictures. The movie was directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and included the actors Bipasha Basu, Sameer Dattani, Minissha Lamba and Kay Kay Menon in the lead roles while the roles of Payal Rohatgi, Rajat Kapoor, Raj Babbar, Javed Akhtar and Harsh Chhaya were also significant. The music of the film was directed by Shamir Tandon and the songs were sung by Asha Bhosle, Alisha Chinoy, Sonu Kakkar, Kailash Kher and Gary Lawyer.

The movie Corporate is completely based on the facts of the world of business. To succeed in the business world one should need to know something or actually anything that no one else knows. The story of the movie revolves around two ambitious corporate houses, one of which is led by Vinay Sehgal ( Rajat Kapoor ) and other led by Dharmesh Marwah ( Raj Babbar ). While Vinay is the Managing Director of Sehgal Group of Industries, Dharmesh is the M.D. of Marwah International Pvt. Ltd. Among the employees of the houses, there is Nishigandha Dasgupta ( Bipasha Basu ) who finds herself drawn into a game of chess between the two houses.
Nishigandha is a businesswoman with high dreams and aspirations to move to the top of the business world. She is currently at the centre of all action. Both the houses are such strong competitors of each others that whenever there is an opportunity of getting a new deal both of them tries to grab it first and that too at any cost. Honesty and principles are all forgotten at this stage and the friendships turn into rivalries. Unfortunately, this affects the already sad state of the common man.
