Dalaal was an action cum romantic movie released on 29 October, 1993. The movie was directed by Partho Ghosh and the producers of the movie were Prakash Mehra, Ramesh Ningoo and Ravi Gupta. The main roles in the movie were played by Mithun Chakraborty, Ayesha Jhulka, Shakti Kapoor and Raj Babbar. Some good roles were played by Tinu Anand, Satyen Kappu and Vikas Anand. The music was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the singers were Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Bappi Lahiri and Udit Narayan.

In the movie Bhola Nath ( Mithun Chakraborty ) was an illiterate villager who was  always ready to help others. The village didn’t even have electricity. Bhola was fearless and he used to confront the politician Chatiprasad ( Raj Babbar ) for not providing the proper resources. Chatiprasad wanted to get rid of Bhola as he was harming his reputation. He offered Bhola a job in Bombay under his friend Jadagannath. Bhola agreed and came to town.

Here he was welcomed nicely. They offered Bhola a job to escort women to meet people. Bhola gave it all and worked with diligence and passion. He soon met a girl Rupali ( Ayesha Jhulka ) and soon both were in love. The twist arises when Bhola finds out that the job he is a part of is a sex racket and he is the one to deliver the women. He feels disgusted. The movie was a very big hit highlighting how corrupt this world has became that it turned an innocent man into a pimp.
