Dance Dance was an action cum musical film that was released on May 29, 1987. The movie was directed as well produced by B Subhash. The top roles in the movie were played by Mithun Chakraborty, Mandakini, Smita Patil and Dalip Tahil while Amrish Puri, Shakti Kapoor, Om Shiv Puri and Moon Moon Sen were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the songs were sung by Vijay Benedict, Alisha Chinoy and Bappi Lahiri.

Dance Dance was an action as well as a musical film that revolved around two people Shyam ( Satish Kaul ) and Sita ( Sarla Yeolekar ). They belong to a song and dance troupe. They lived a poor lifestyle in Panjim with two small children, Radha ( Smita Patil ) and Ramu ( Mithun Chakraborty ). One day, they were supposed to go to Jalpaiguri and perform in a show. It was then that Sita’s beauty was appreciated by a main person there.

Sita was liked by A.M. Singh who wanted to keep her and kill the rest of the people of the troupe in a bus accident. He succeeded in his plans leaving Radha and Ramu homeless. They now sang and danced on the roads to make their living. Years later they mature and are also quite famous now. Radha gets married to one of the troupe members Resham ( Shakti Kapoor ) while Ramu aka Romeo is in love with Janita ( Mandakini ). Ramu also brings Janita in their troupe.
