Bollywood action thriller, Daraar, directed by Abbas Mastan was released on July 6, 1996. The movie starred Arbaaz Khan, Rishi Kapoor and Juhi Chawla in lead roles while Sushma Seth, Johnny Lever, Tiku Talsania and Sulbha Arua also played important charcaters in the film. The music of the film was composed and directed by famous music director Anu Malik and the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Shankar Mahadevan, Alka Yagnik, Sadhna Sargam, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Abhijeet. The movie was a huge box office hit.

Young and handsome, Raj Malhotra ( Rishi Kapoor ), belongs to a wealthy family and is living with his mother. One day metts with a beautiful girl named Priya Bhatia ( Juhi Chawla ) and instantly falls in love with her. He proposes to Priya but she simply refuses to it. However, Raj tries hard to convince her for marrying him but fails to get success each time. Then Priya’s blid mother, Nirmala, comes to his rescue and convinces her to get married with Raj, as he is a nice guy and loves her so much.

Priya also changes her mind and agrees to get married with Raj. But she wants to clear Raj about her past life and therefore writes a letter to him. But the letter is lost by Raj’s servant, Hari ( Johnny Lever ). When Raj alongwith his mom visits Priya’s house for finalizing their marriage, then only Nirmala discloses that Priya is already married and his husband is still alive. Raj gets shocked and leaves immediately. What will happen now? And is Priya’s husband is still alive then where is he?
