Bollywood movie, Darr, directed and produced by Yash Chopra was released on December 24, 1993. Sunny Deol, Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla played the lead roles in the film. The superhit music of the film was given by Shiv-Hari. The story of an obsessed lover and his bad deeds was highly appreciated by the audiences and the movie became such a big hit. The film is still remembered for one of the finest performance given by Shahrukh Khan.

The movie revolves around an obsessed lover Rahul Mehra ( Shaharukh Khan ) and the girl she loves, Kiran ( Juhi Chawla ). However, Juhi is in love with a Naval Officer Sunil Malhotra ( Sunny Deol ), who is to marry her very soon. But Rahul always try to stalked Kiran in every possible way. Rahul wants Kiran to love him and only him.

Things get unbearable when Rahul taunts Kiran and Sunil from their personal telephone no. Sunil takes Kiran to Switzerland for a honeymoon and all things are kept confidential. But Rahul somehow manages to know that Sunil and Kiran are in Switzerland. He meets with Sunil and Kiran there. Sunil came to know about Rahul’s frequent visit at their homw in their absence by Kiran’s brother. He beats Rahul and revealed the truth. In the end Rahul dies uttering Kiran’s name. The movie won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film.
