The movie Dhoom Dadakka was released on May 23, 2008 and was directed and produced by Shashi Ranjan. The movie belongs to the genre of comedy and includes the actors Shaad Randhawa, Raakhi Sawant, Gulshan Grover, Koena Mitra, Chunky Pandey, Razzak Khan, Bobby Darling, Jackie Shroff, Aarti Chhabria, Satish Shah, Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik and Shama Sikandar in lead roles. The music of the film is directed by Roop Kumar Rathod and the singers of the movie are Jaspinder Narula, Daler Mehndi, Sunidhi Chauhan, Udit Narayan, Roop Kumar Rathod and Kalpana.

The well known director Shashi Ranjan made a comeback with the movie Dhoom Dhadakka long after he produced Raveena Tandon, Jackie Shroff starrer ‘Doobara’. The movie has been shot in Bangkok and is full of good and experienced actors. The story of the movie is that in earlier 70’s Mungilal ( Anupam Kher ) was a small Bhai in Mumbai who was helped in business and Bhaigiri by his friend Jignesh ( Satish Shah ). The two Bhais left for Bangkok when the laws in India went against them. The small Bhai Mungilal transformed into a Don in Bangkok. During this time an “All Asian Bhai Meet” was conducted in Bangkok where the declining graph of Bhaigiri was observed.

During the meet, Mungi’s rival Don Fursat Lala ( Gulshan Grover ) gave a valid argument about a piece of land at Alibagh. Everyone agreed with him that in their business it is important to have a successor to look after the matters. The plan was well made by Fursat Lala because he knew that Mungi had no successor therefore the new Don will be none other than Fursat Lala himself. But Mungi tells them that he has a successor and needs a month to represent him before them. Mungi and his friend Jignesh then decides to find Angoori ( Bhavana Balsawar ), Mungis’s sister whom Mungi had thrown long time before.  Mungi hires a detective Johnny English ( Satish Kaushik ) to find his nephew Kamal and agreed to give him Rs. 50 lacs for this.
