Bollywood family drama, Dil Daulat Duniya, directed by Prema Narayan Aroira and written by Tabish Sulatnpuri was released in the year 1972. The movie starred Rajesh Khanna and Sadhana Shivdasani in lead roles while Om Prakash, Ashok Kumar, Indira bansal, Agha, Sulochana Latkar, Keshav Rana, Jagdeep and Helen also played important roles in the film. The melodious evergreen music of the movie was directed by the well knwon music director duo Shankar Jaikishen while the songs were beautifully rendered by Kishore Kumar, Usha Khanna and Asha Bhonsle.

Udharchand Shikarpuri ( Om Prakash ) is living under the roof of a wealthy guy named Seth Kalidas ( Ashok Kumar ), who is himself is living in his palatial house in Mussorie. Udharchand come across two guys named Raju ( Agha ) and Vijay ( Rajesh Khanna ) and get impressed by them He invites them to live alongwith him till they arranges any house for themselves. Then abeautiful girl named Roopa ( Sadhana Shivdasani ) also come acroos them and they decides to allow her to live with them in the house.

Later, Raju also brings his wife, son and sister, Rita ( Helen ) in the house and they all starts living toegther in the house. Roopa then meets with a poor guy named Kalluram ( Ashok Kumar ) and brings him home. But little does they all knows is that Kalluram is actually the woner of the house, Kalidas. What Kalidas will do now?
