Bollywood romantic movie, Dil Hai Betaab, directed by K. C. Bokadia was released on August 27, 1993. The movie starred Ajay Devgan, Vivek Mushran and Pratibha Sinha in lead roles while Kadar Khan, Alok Nath, Mohnish Behl, Anjana Mumtaz, Rakesh Bedi, Reema Lagoo and Sudhir also played important characters in the movie. The melodious music of the film was given by the famous music director duo, Laxmikant Pyarelal, while the songs were beautifully rendered by Udit Narayan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Alka Yagnik, Mohammed Aziz etc. The movie was an average hit at the box office.

Young, charming and handsome, Raja ( Vivek Mushran ) meets with a beautifull girl named Meena ( Pratibha Sinha ) in the college and falls in love with her. Meena is the daughter of Parshuram ( Kadar Khan ), who works as a peon in wealthy businessman Vikram Singh’s ( Mohnish Behl ) firm. Raja proposes to Meena and she gaves her nod for the relationship as she also likes him a lot. But the problem is that another guy, Ajay ( Ajay Devgan ) madly loves Meena and is planning to get married with her one day. He tries to kill Raja but Meena’s comes between the two. Meena convinces him that she love Raja only. Ajay relents to her plea and allow the two to get married with each other.

But just when Raja and Meena thinks that all problems are over now, Parshuram recieves marraige proposal of Vikram Singh for her daughter. Parshuram overjoys to this proposal and immediately agrres for it. But when he tells this to meena, she opposes to this marraige. However, Parshuram is determined to marry Meena to Vikram only. What Raja and Meena will do now? Will they seek help of Ajay in getting over this problem?
