Dil Jo Bhi Kahey was a romantic movie released on September 23, 2005 under the banner of Entertainment One. The movie was directed and produced by Romesh Sharma. The top roles of the movie were played by Amitabh Bachchan, Bhumika Chawla, Karan Sharma and Revathi. The music of the film was directed by Shankar-Ehsan-Loy and the songs were sung by Sudesh Bhosle, Vaishali Samant, Gayatri Ganjawala and Prashant.

The story of the movie is quite common but was served with big names, scenic locations and good songs. The story of the film is about the love story of two lovers who come from different backgrounds and are facing the harsh aspects of different cultures. The film tries to resolve the cultural conflicts and show the audience a new perspective.

The story of the movie is about Jai Sinha ( Karan Sharma ) who is in love with Sophie Besson ( Annabelle Wallace ) and both of the lovers are presently studying in Stockholm. Sophie was the daughter of NRI parents and it was difficult for both of them to convince their respective families. Jai’s father Shekhar Sinha ( Amitabh Bachchan ) had no problems with the relations but his mother Sandhya ( Revathy ) was pure orthodox Indian woman who was unwilling to have her daughter-in-law as a foreigner. Jai was asked to marry an Indian girl ( Bhoomika Chawla ) who backs out on knowing the complete story.
