The story of the movie revolves around the lives of two couples living in Mumbai, Samit ( Irrfan Khan ) and Mita ( Soha Ali Khan ); Rishi ( Rahul Bose ) and Simi ( Konkona Sen Sharma ). The problem with the couples is that they are bored of their post marital lives. What they does out of boredom is the script of the movie. The young guys want change in their lives and develop temptation for others. The film starts when one of the couples Samit and Mita make an announcement.
