Bollywood romantic musical drama, Dil Kitna Nadan Hai, directed by Ravi Rai and written by Mahesh Bhatt was released on May 8, 1997. The movie starred Raja and Raageshwari in lead roles while Reema lagoo, Alok Nath and Kiran Kumar also played important characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was composed by the well known music director Anu Malik while the songs were rendered by Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik etc.

The movie starts with a young and handsome guy ( Raja ), who meets with a beautiful girl ( Raageshwari ). After few intial misunderstanding they both gets attracted towards each other. They eventually falls in love with each other. They then decides to get married with each other after completing their studies. But problem arises when Raageshwari’s father ( Kiran Kumar ) refuse to accept Raja as his son-in-law. He forbids Raageshwari for seeing Raja. But the love birds are determined to get married with each other.

Raja and Raageshwari runs away from their houses leaving behind an enraged Kiran Kumar. He then sends his goons to search Raja and Raageshwari. He strongly ask the goons to beat Raja so that he never courage to meet with Raageshwari again in future.
