Dil Maange More was a romantic movie released on December 31, 2004 under the banner of Fourth Wall Productions. The movie was directed by Anant Mahadevan and produced by Nikhil Panchamiya. The lead roles were played by actors Shahid Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Ayesha Takia and Tulip Joshi while the presence of Zarina Wahab and Gulshan Grover supported the film. Music of the film was directed by Himesh Reshammiya and the songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, K K, Alka Yagnik, Sunidhi Chauhan and Udit Narayan.

Dil Maange More was the real and improved comedy film of director Anant Mahadevan after “Dil Vil Pyaar Vyar”. The movie is not like any other romantic movie but is filled with sweetness, fun, excitement and comedy. It is the story of a young guy named Nikhil ( Shahid Kapoor )living in a small town called Samarpur somewhere inside Uttaranchal, with his mother ( Smitha Jaykar ). He is crazy about two things in his life, one being football and other being Neha ( Soha Ali Khan ). Neha also loved him and her father ( Kanwaljeet ) was also happy with the match.

Wondering when everything’s fine then what is the problem? Though Neha love Nikhil but she wants to pursue her career in aviation industry. She wanted to explore the world and for that she has to leave Samarpur and go to Mumbai. Nikhil too leaves the town for her and goes to Mumbai. He gets a job in a music station under a flirty boss A.R.Rehman ( Gulshan Grover ), colleague Sara ( Tulip Joshi ) and a hot-tempered neighbor Shagun ( Ayesha Takia ). Nikhil gradually fell in love with Sara and then Shagun only to find that Neha wants him back.
