Bollywood romantic family drama, Dilber, directed by B. Krishna rao and written by Achala Nagar was released on June 2, 1994. The movie starred Rishikesh Raj and Mamta Kulkarni in lead roles while Suresh Oberoi, Johnny Lever, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Nawaz Khan, Laxmikant Berde, Johnny Lever, Reema Lagoo, Tej Sapru, Tanushree and Beena banerjee also played important roles in the film. The melodious music of the movie was composed by the music director duo Laxmikant Pyarelal while the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Vinod Rathod, Kumar Sanu, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Alka Yagnik.

Young and beautiful, Priya verma ( Mamta Kulkarni ) is studying in a college. She falls in love with a guy named Ravi ( Rishikesh Raj ) after he come to her rescue when some guys tries to molest her in college. Ravi and Priya decides to get married. Priya then introduces Ravi to her elder brother, Sridhar verma ( Suresh Oberoi ), who is a police inspector by profession. Sridhar forbids Priya to meet Ravi again. When Priya refuse to do so, Sridhar blackmails her by threatening to kill himself.

Sridhar then chooses a guy named Vishal ( Nawaz Khan ) for Priya. Sridhar then starts doing arrangements for Priya and Vishal’s marraige. But priya get shcoked to learn that sridhar has choosen Vishal for her only to take revenge from Vishal’s father, Chandrachur ( Kulbhushan Kharbanda ) for the death of their mother, Kalavati ( Aparajita). Now what will happen next?
