Do Matwale was an action movie released in 1991. The movie was produced by Pushpa Choudhary and Vinod S Choudhary and the directors were Ashok and Ajay Kashyap. The main roles in the movie were played by Sanjay Dutt, Sonam, Kader Khan and Chunky Pandey. Other good roles were played by Shilpa Shriodkar, Shakti Kapoor, Pyare Mohan and Anjana Mumtaz. The music of the movie was directed by Laxmikant Kudalkar and Pyarelal while the singers were Sudesh Bhosle, Amit Kumar, Arun and Alka Yagnik.

In the movie Amar ( Chunky Pandey ) is a villager whose only support is his mom ( Sushmeta Seth ). She gets really ill and there was no other way to save her life, except an operation. The operation was too costly for poor Amar so he indulges in crime to save his mother’s life. In the hospital he meets beautiful lady, Dr. Pooja ( Shilpa Shirodkar ) and both were attracted towards each other. Soon they were so much into love with each other that they were to get married. But Pooja’s brother Ajay ( Sanjay Dutt ) was against their marriage as he once suffered imprisonment because of Amar.

Both marry each other against Ajay’s will. On their honeymoon Pooja gets raped and was killed by the rapists. Ajay goes mad as he believed it was Amar who did all this. The police too was after Amar but the actual culprits were Kasturi ( Kiran Kumar ) and Pyaremohan ( Gulshan Grover ). Amar used to work for them to pay for his mother’s operation. Chunky Pandey was as usual ok while Sanjay Dutt was awesome in the movie.
