Do Qaidi was an action movie released on February 24, 1989. The movie was directed by Ajay Kashyap and produced by Pushpa Choudhary. The lead roles in the movie were played by Sanjay Dutt, Farha, Govinda and Neelam Kothari while the roles of Amrish Puri, Suresh Oberoi, Ranjeeta, Gulshan Grover and Jalal Aga were equally important. The music of the film was directed by Laxmikant Kudalkar and Pyarelal while the songs were sung by Shabbir Kumar and Kavita Krishnamurthy.

Do Qaidi was an action movie that revolved around two small thieves Manu ( Sanjay Dutt ) and Kanu ( Govinda ). They work independently and do not know each other. One day, they individually decide to work for underground criminal Don K.K. ( Amrish Puri ), and K.K. accepts them. Though K.K. accepted them in his gang but this was not liked by Bichoo, K.K.’s son. Even Bichoo ( Gulshan Grover ) also had a physical dispute with them in past.

K.K. gave Manu and Kanu some work to do but Bichoo makes an anonymous call to the police informing them about Manu and Kanu. Police arrests them and are held in a cell and chained to each other. The day when they were transported to the court, they manage to escape though chained to each other. The twist in the story comes when the news channel flashes their photo and announcing that they have killed a Police Inspector named Amar Sinha ( Suresh Oberoi ).
