Bollywood movie Don - The Chase Begins Again, written and directed by Farhan Akhtar, was released on 20 October 2006. The movie starred Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles while Arjun Rampal, Isha Koppikar, Om Puri and Boman Irani also played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the film is given by trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The movie is a remake of the Amitabh Bachchan’s blockbuster film Don. The movie did well at the box office. Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra underwent special martial arts training for performing their stunts in the movie.

The movie starts with DCP D’Silva ( Boman Irani ), who is ought to catch a drug racket headed by Singhania. He knows that capturing Don ( Shahrukh Khan ), who is running the business for Singhania, is the only key to accomplish his task. Malik ( Om Puri ) is also helping D’Silva in this task. Don’s gang consist of Narang ( Pawan Malhotra ) and his girlfriend Anita ( Isha Koppikar ). A girl Roma ( Priyanka Chopra ) also joins them but for the different reason. Roma wants to kill Don as he was responsible for the death of her brother Ramesh. D’Silva finally managed to caught Don but in the proces he get seriously injured. He keeps it a secret and plan to replace Don with his look-alike, Vijay. Real Don dies because of a sudden heart failure.

Vijay joins the gang and secretly provides all the information to D’Silva. During an encounter with Singhania’s people, both Singhania and DeSilva gets killed. Now Vijay has no clue to prove himself a informer of D’Silva. He runs from the Jail for proving himself innocent. Vijay manages to get a disc which has all the information about Singhania’s gang and their places. But he also discovers a shocking truth that D’Silva is alive and is actually Vardhan, a underground criminal and the enemy of Singhania. Vardhan wants the disc from him. In the end Vijay gets succeed in proving his innocence in front of police. But a shocking truth is also revealed by Roma in the climax scene that the real Don is still alive and the man who was pretending to be Vijay is the actual Don. But both Don and his girlfriend Anita escapes successfully in the end.
