The romantic movie Dosti - Friends Forever was released on December 23, 2005 under the banner of Shree Krishna International. The movie was directed and produced by Suneel Darshan. The top roles were played by Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Lara Dutta while the roles of Sherlyn Chopra and Juhi Chawla were also important. The music of the film was directed by Nadeem Saifee and Shravan Kumar while the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Abhijeet, Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik and Kunal Ganjawala.

The movie Dosti - Friends Forever is based upon the same old story and didn’t have anything new on display. It is the story of two friends with strong relation of friendship but falls apart due to some confusion. The film also entertains at some pont of time. The movie revolves around Karan ( Bobby Deol ) and Raj ( Akshay Kumar ). While Karan was wealthy and lived in an expensive place, Raj was penniless and lived under the sky. Karan owned a private plane for him to fly anywhere he wanted whereas Raj had to reach his destination on his feet.

Karan also had a good family but lacked love whereas Raj had love but missed the support of a good family. This gave the impression that though Karan had everything but he was still empty while on the other hand Raj was complete even though he had nothing. They were completely different but their friendship was very strong. Karan gave Raj a place to live and Raj returned the thanks by giving him emotional security. They both had blind faith in each other and this was often not liked by the other people. They both lived and laughed together.
