Bollywood suspense thriller movie, Droh Kaal, directed by Govind Nihalani was released on August 31, 1994. The movie starred Naseeruddin Shah and Mita Vashisht in lead roles while Om Puri, Amrish Puri, Milind Gunaji, Ashish Vidhyarthi, Sadiya Siddiqui, Ravi Sanghavi and Manoj Bajpayee also played significant characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by the well known music director Vanraj Bhatia while the songs were beautifully rendered by Jagjit Singh etc.

Abbas Lodhi ( Naseeruddin Shah ) is an undercover police officer by profession. He is a brave and honest police cop. He believes in living life on the edge. He is assigned a case of terrorists by his superior named IGP Pathak ( Amrish Puri ). He is asked to work alongwith another guy named Amit Singh ( Om Puri ) on this case. The terrorists group has its connection everywhere including police also. Abbas and Amit enters in the group as terorrists and soon manage to arrest the groupleader named Commander Bhadra ( Ashish Vidhyarthi ).

Bhadra is sentenced to prison in the special custody of Abbas and Amit. Bhadra offers money to Amit in exchange of his freedom. But Amit refuse to accept his offer. As a result of this his family starts getting threatning calls. Amit get devastated when Abbas and Pathak are also get killed. Now Amit has no one whom he can trust more than himself. He find it hard to stand all alone against Bhadra and the corrupt politicians and police officers. What he will do now?
