Bollywood suspense action thriller, Dushmani: A Voilent Love Story, directed by Bunty Soorma was released in the year 1995. The movie starred Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala in lead roles while Anupam Kher, Deepti Naval, Raghuvir Yadav, Manohar Singh, Neena Gupta, Varsha Usgaonkar, Dina Pathak and Vikas Anand also played important roles in the film. The music of the movie was given by the famous music director duo, Anand-Milind while the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, S. P. Balasubramaniam, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Sapna Awasthi.

The movie starts with two brother, Suraj Singh ( Sunny Deol ) and Jai Singh ( Jackie Shroff ), who are totally different in nature from each other. Jai is a gangster while Suraj hates voilence and wants to leave in peace. Suraj meets with a beautiful girl named Sapna Oberoi ( Manisha Koirala ) and falls in love with her. Sapna also falls for his sincerity and love towards her. They both plans to get married and Suraj tell this to his brother Jai and other family memebers. But everyone in the family is against of this marriage as Sapna is the daughter of their enemy family.

But somehow, Sapna and Suraj convinces the family members to give up thsi enemity between the two family. Jai also decides to give up his gangster like life and agrees to go to Sapna’s father with Suraj and Sapna’s marriage proposal. Sapna’s family also agrees for this relationship and both the family start preparing for the marraige. But before the marriage could take place, a group of men attacks Jai and tries to kill him. Jai is hospitalized and Suraj decides to find out the mens who tries to kill his brother. But after learning the truth he get shocked.
