Bollywood movie, Ehsaan, directed by Shiv Kumar was released in the year 1970. The movie starred Joy Mukherjee and Anjana Mumtaz in lead roles while Sulochana Latkar, Aruna Irani, Helen, Rajendra Nath, Madan Puri, K. N. Singh, Bipin Gupta and Tun tun also played important roles in the film. The melodious hit music of the movie was directed by the wel known music director Rahul Dev Burman while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammed Rafi and Asha Bhonsle.

Shalini ( Anajan Mumtaz ) is abducted by some goons when she was returning to home. A young amn named Raja Prasad ( Joy Mukherjee ) comes to her rescue and manage to save her from the goons. Raja and Shalini falls in love with each other. Shalini introduces Raja to her father, Mohan Lal ( Bipin Gupta ), who works for Governemnt of India and has the responsibilty of safegaurding the list of the secret agents works for India’s security. Raja becomes the frquent visitor of Shalini’s house.

Mohanlal approves for the marriage of Shalini and Raja. The preparation are on for the marriage of Raja and Shalini. But just before the marriage could happen, Mohanlal reveals that Raja is actually a criminal who has been assigned the task of stealing the list of the names of all secret agents woring for India.
