Ehsaas - A Feeling was a social drama released on November 30, 2001 under the banner of Time Magnetics (India) Pvt Ltd. The movie was directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Dhirajlal Shah. The significant roles in the movie were played by Sunil Shetty, Sanjay Narvekar, Neha and Rakhi Sawant while there were special appearances by Sunidhi Chauhan and Shivaji Satam. Music of the film was directed by Anand Raj Anand and the songs were sung by Atul Kale, Vaishali Samant, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sonu Nigam, Aditya Narayan and Udit Narayan.

Ehsaas- A Feeling was directed by writer-director Mahesh Manjrekar who teams up with producer Pravin Shah who had earlier produced famous movies like Kurukshetra and Jodi No.1. Pravin has earlier worked with Manjrekar in movie Kurukshetra and recalls that the experience was great. The movie revolves around the father-son relationship. The father Ravi Naik ( Sunil Shetty ) cares a lot for his son ( Master Mayank Tandon ). According to the director, the aim of the movie is to make parents understand the mindset of their children and to make children aware of their responsibilities.

Ravi Naik, the father, has great expectations from his child whereas the child is expecting something totally different from him. While he cares and loves a lot his child, he required special attention and had different expectations from him. Antra Pandit ( Neha ) comes to live in Ravi’s neighbourhood. Ravi’s son likes her a lot and shares his all emotions with her. The child was motherless under the dominance of his father.
