The action thriller movie Ek Ajnabee was released on December 9, 2005 under the banner of G S Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The movie was directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Bunty Walia and Jassi Walia. The actors in the significant roles were Amitabh Bachchan, Perizaad Zorabian, Arjun Rampal and Baby Rucha Vaidya. There were also some special sppearances by Abhishek Bachchan and Lara Dutta. The music of the film was directed by Amar Mohile and the songs were sung by Kunal Ganjawala, Kailash Kher, Sukhwinder Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan.

The movie Ek Ajnabee was earlier going to be titled as Ajnabi - A Man Apart and had been inspired by a Hollywood hit film “Man On Fire”. It is a story of a man who is not in his senses and whatever he does he just finds himself surrounded by some other problem. It is a story of Suryaveer Singh ( Amitabh Bachchan ) who was a black commando in the army earlier. He was involved in many battles and this had an adverse effect on his mental state. Thus he decided to leave it all and make drinking his new partner.

Suryaveer was invited by his friend Shekhar ( Arjun Rampal ) who lived in Bangkok in his security firm. Shekhar gives him the job of a security guard and it was readily accepted by him. He was supposed to protect an 8 year old girl Anamika ( Baby Rucha Vaidya ). He was not comfortable with the children but somehow manages to bring the things back on track. The twist in his life comes when the girl gets kidnapped and he was on a mission to save her. With his war experience and commando training he was confident enough to win the new battle.
