Bollywood romantic movie, Ek Chhotisi Love Story, dircted by Shashilala K. Nair was released in the year 2002. The movie starred Manisha Koirala and Aditya Seal in lead roles while Ranvir Shorey and Saroj Bhargava are only two other actors who played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was composed by the music director Arvind Nirmal while the songs were rendered by Arvind Nirmal himself.

The movie starts with a young boy named Aditya ( Aditya Seal ), who is just 15 years old. He is living alongwith his grandmother in an apartment. He is a school going kid but have no friends in the locality where he resides. He used to pass his free time by spying on a young beautiful attractive women named Manisha ( Manisha Koirala ). He spys on her with the help of a telescope as she lives in the opposite building. He gets attracted towards her and always tries to see her through his telescope.

He watches her roaming around in her home and even sees her in minimal clothes she wears at home. He knows that Manisha is in love with a guy. He often sees her getting physical with her boyfriend. Aditya even tries to get friendly with her but she refuses. Then one night, Manisha sees Aditya spying on her through telescope. She confronts him for this and then he tells her that he is madly in love with her. Manisha then decides to teach him a lesson.
