Bollywood family drama, Ek Hi Bhool, directed by Rama Rao Tatineni and written by K. Bhagyaraja was released on October 9, 1981. The movie starred Jeetendra and Rekha in lead roles while Mazhar Khan, Jagdish Raj, Nazneen, Dinesh Hingoo, Asrani, Yunus Parvez and Leela Mishra also played important roles in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by none other than legendary music director duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were beautifully crooned by S. P. Balasubramaniam, Asha Bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with young and handsome, Ram Kumar ( Jeetendra ) who get married to a beautiful lady named Sadhana ( Rekha ). They starts living a happy married life with each other. But the problem arises when Sadhana witnesses Ram in the company a lady working in his office. She starts suspecting on Ram and assumes that he is having an affair with that lady. She tries to confront him but he refuse to accept any such affair. But Sadhana’s continues questioning irritates him and he slaps Sadhana.

Sadhana immediately leaves the house and relocate to her father’s home. Her family tries to convince her to sort her problem with Ram but she refuses. They then decides to talk to Ram about this but he also refuse to talk on thsi issue. Nothing works to patch up things between the couple and as a result of this both Ram and Sadhana starts living seperately and never even thinks about each other. Where is this relationship heading towards?
