Bollywood suspense action thriller, Ek Raaz, directe by Sakti Samanta was released in the year 1963. The movie starred Kishore Kumar and Mumtaz begum in lead roles while Agha, Mirza Musharraf, Jamuna, Madhumati, Jeevan Kala, Niranjan Shram and Lalita Pawar also played important characters in the film. The evergreen hit music of the movie was directed by the female music director Chitra Gupta while the songs were beautifully sung by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and Usha Mangeshkar.

Beena ( Jamuna ) is living a wealthy lifestyle alongwith her mother, a cousin named Sushma and her maternal uncle, Khushalchand Peshawari. Her marriage was arranged in her childhood with a wealthy guy named Arun ( Kishore Kumar ). Arun is the son of a rich businessnam named Girdharilal. Beena and Sushma goes to recieve a singer named Kishore Kumar Sharma and bring him to their house. Kishore is to perform in a local concert. The shows ends up well but Beena get shocked when another guy arrives there and claims that he is real Kishore Kumar Sharma.

Fake Kishore Sharma escapes from there but Beena has fallen in love with him. Beena soon meets him in her uncle’s office where he is working by the name of Peshawarimal. He runs away from there also. She once again meets with him in her future in-laws house where he is working as an accountant with the name of Kishore Kumar. Who is this mysterious guy? What will happen next in this story?
