Ek - The Power of One is an action film that is currently under production but will release on March 27, 2009 under the banners of K Sera Sera and Dharam Films. The movie is being directed by Sangeeth Sivan and produced by Jaswant Khera. The main roles in the movie are played by Nana Patekar, Shreya Saran, Bobby Deol and Chunky Pandey while the roles of Jackie Shroff, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Jaspal Bhatti are equally important. The music of the film is directed by Pritam Chakraborty and the sound is given by Pradeep Suri.

The story of the movie revolves around an orphan boy named Nandu ( Bobby Deol ) who became orphan at a young age. He saw the harsh realities of life at a very young age but couldn’t do anything but to cope up with life and learn the art of living in this mean world and the city Mumbai. The only option available to him was to enter the world of crime, and he did it without any regret. He is now an assassin and his first murder came when he was at very young age of 9.

The mental support to Nandu was given by one person named Shekhar who was also his family and friend. Nandu grew up to be a cold-blooded assassin and Shekhar the getaway specialist. Their combination just rocked the police force. They helped each other and had deep sense of understanding. The twist in the story comes when an opposition leader Anna Mhatre hires Nandu to try kill him so that he may be able to win the votes of the people through love and sympathy. Before he could fire, he notices that the leader was killed.
