Eklavya was earlier thought to be named as Yagna and is a Thrilling Drama about an ancient dynasty in modern India that is under threat, a royal dynasty that is no longer in rule. This kingdom which is left without a king is being guarded by its royal and most loyal guard Eklavya ( Amitabh Bachchan ). Devigarh is the centuries old castle in Rajasthan and the generations of Eklavya has protected it. He is a modern man and was not able to handle the traditions and customs in Devigarh and this is why he lived in London. His mother Rani Suhasinidevi ( Sharmila Tagore ) also died in Devigarh. Few other people were glad to see him back, they were his sister Princess Nandini ( Raima Sen ) and the love of his childhood Rajjo ( Vidya Balan ).
