The action movie Ellan E Jung was released on August 18, 1989 under the banner of S K Films Enterprises. The movie was directed as well as produced by Anil Sharma. The top roles in the movie were enacted by Dharmendra, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Jaya Prada and Sudhir while the presence of Dara Singh Randhawa, Joginder, Anu Kapoor and Puneet Issar supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Laxmikant Kudalkar, Anand Chitragupt, Milind Chitragupt and Pyarelal while the songs were sung by Mohammad Aziz.

The action movie Ellan E Jung was directed by the famous action director Anil Sharma who had the caliber of directing the family movies as better as the action flicks. This film too had a correct dose of action and romance. The duo of the director and the lead actor Dharmendra, acted earlier in the movie Hukumat and now both are back again to re-create the same magic as created in that film. Sadashiv Amrapurkar plays the negative role in the film.

The movie didn’t do as much well as was expected from it though its release was noticed. The male lead in the film was played by Dharmendra who looked very fatigued and the whole film is roughly shot and edited as though all involved were having too much of a good time. The female lead in the film was played by Jaya Prada who was as good as she was in her previous films. Sadashiv Amrapurkar plays the role of a criminal having his own gang.
