Bollywood action crime thriller, Fareb, directed by Vikram Bhatt was releeased in the year 1996. The movie starred Milind Gunaji and Suman Ranganathan in lead roles while Divya Jaiswal, Faraaz Khan, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Makrand deshpande, Sunil Dhawan and JKunika also played significant characters in the film. The melodious hit music of the film was composed by the very famous music director duo Jatin-Lalit while the songs were crooned by Abhijeet, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik etc.

Dr. Rohan Verma ( Faraaz Khan ) and his beautiful wife, Suman Verma ( Suman Ranganathan re-locates to a new place. Then enters a guy named Indrajeet Saxena ( Milind Gunaji ), who is a police inspector by profession, in their life. Rohan and Suman becomes very friendly with him and often meets with him. Suman is charged with the possession of drugs and Indrajeet comes to her rescue. He help Suman in getting out of this problem and as a reslut Suman becomes more close to him.

The reason for which Indrajeet is becoming so friendly with Rohan and Suman is that he is actually attracted to Suman and wants to get her on his bed at any cost. Soon Indrajeet shows his true colours and starts creating misunderstanding between Rohan and Suman. When he gets no result with this, Indrajeet then arrests Rohan for wrong charges leving behind Suman alone in the house. What will to Suman now?
