The movie Fateh was an action movie released on March 28, 1991. The movie was directed by Talat Jani and was produced by Mukesh Duggal. The main roles in the movie were played by Sanjay Dutt, Mohsin Khan and Sonam and some appreciable roles were played by Shafi Inamdaar, Paresh Rawal and Avtar Gill. The music of the movie was directed by Naresh Sharma and the singers were Anuradha Paudwal, Anu Malik and Amit Kumar. The lyrics were written by Indeevar.

The movie is based on life of soldiers who sacrifice their lives for our country. Major Anand ( Suresh Oberoi ) is a commander in the military and has three colleagues cum friends namely Ranvir ( Satyajit Puri ), Karan ( Sanjay Dutt ) and Salim ( Mohsin Khan ). All the four were on a mission and they come across a criminal named Munna ( Paresh Rawal ) who is responsible for the drug racket in the city. They all attacked Munna but to their bad luck Major Anand got badly injured and now he is handicapped.

Now, being crippled Anand was not given the respect as earlier and was forced to leave the job. He manages to open a garage for himself and starts earning his living. Suddenly, news of Anand’s death spread and no one knew what had happened to him. His three friends tried to find out the person behind his death and later develop suspicion on a man named Bablia ( Dinesh Anand ), but he was not the real killer. They all set to find out the real killer. The movie presents the true side of the tough life of soldiers.
