Bollywood sweet and beautiful actress, Genelia D’Souza, was born on August 5, 1987 in England. Her family came back to India and relocated at Mumbai. She completed her graduation from St. Andrews College, Bandra. She amde her bollywood debut with the film titled Tujhe Meri Kasam opposite Ritesh Deshmukh. The movie did average business at the box office. Her second movie was also alongside Ritesh in the form of multistarrer sex comedy Masti. However, she gone unnoticed in this film too.

After that she joined Tollywood industrya and worked in several hit movies. Her first project in Tollywood film industry was big budget ‘Boys‘ which turned out to be a box-office hit. The success of the movie launched her career down south. She did many hit movies such as Satyam, Samba, Subhash Chandra Bose etc down south. Her next two films became big hits titled Happy and Bommarillu.

Later she returned to bollywood industry and starred in Akshaye Khanna starrer comic caper Mere Baap Pehle Aap. The film did average business at the box office. But her recent released Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na opposite Imraan Khan, Aamir Khan’s nephew, is doing excellent job at the box office. The film is considered to be the biggest hit of the the year 2008. Her role as Aditi Mahant aka Meow is greatly appreciated by the audiences.
