Bollywood romantic thriller movie , Ghoonghat, directed by Chinni Prakash was released in the year 1997. The movie starred Inder Kumar and Ayesha Jhulka in lead roles while Tiku Talsania, Gulshan grover, Alok Nath, Shiva Rindani, Satish Kaishuk and Johnny Lever also played important characters in the film. The hit rpmantic melodious music of the movie was directed by the well known music director Anand Raj Anand while the songs were rendered by Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik.

Inder ( Inder Kumar ), is the only son of a wealthy family and is living alongwith his parents. He falls in love with a beautiful girl named Ayesha ( Ayesha Jhulka ) at first sight. But his parents ask him to get married with the girl selected by them. Inder refuse to hear his parents and decides to get married to Ayesha only. But little does he knows is that the girl choosen by his parents is none other than Ayesha herself.
