Bollywood hot flick, Girlfriend, written and directed by Karan Razdan was released on June 17, 2004. The movie starred Isha Koppikar and Amrita Arora in lead roles while Aashish Chaudhary, Dolly Malhotra, Sumit Nijhawan and Shantanu Chappana also played important characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was directed by the well knwon music director Daboo Malik while the songs were crooned by Abhijeet, Sonu Nigam, Kumar Sanu, Sunidhi Chauhan, Vaishali Samant, Shantanu Mukherjee, Shreya Ghoshal etc.

Tanya ( Isha Koppikar ) ran away from home after the death of her mother because of the continous torcher of her father. Tanya hates men and therefore becomes an expert street fighter. She used to fight with male contestant and defeats them badly. She then come across a beautiful girl named Sapna ( Amrita Arora ) and falls in love with her. She becomes friendly with her. One night when Sapna was drunk, Tanya took advantage and get physical with her. After that they both used to enjoy each other sexually everyday.

But things starts changing when a London based businessman, Rahul Chaudhary ( Aashish Chaudhary ) enters in Sapna’s life. Rahul and Sapna falls in love with each other. As a result of this Sapna starts maintaing a distance from Tanya. Tanya gets enraged with this. Rahul then decides to get married with Sapna. Sapna too wants to start a new life with Rahul. But this is not what Tanya wants her to do. Tanya considers Sapna her first love and wants to get her back anyhow. She plans a dirty game to seperate Rahul and Sapna.
