The movie God Tussi Great Ho is scheduled to release on August 15, 2008 which is also the Independence Day of India, under the banner of Shabbo Arts. The movie comes under the genre of comedy and romance and is produced by Afzal Khan. The movie is directed by Rumi Jaffery and includes the star casts as Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Priyanka Chopra, Manisha Koirala, Rukhsar, Sanjay Mishra, Dilip Tahil, Sohail Khan, Satish Kaushik and Beena Kak. The music of the movie is directed by the duo Sajid and Wajid. The singers of the movie are Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Udit Narayan, Wajid, Amrita Kak, Shankar Mahadevan, Neeraj Shridhar, Shreya Ghosal, Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik.

As the name of the movie suggests the story of the movie is about God and his blessings. The God ( Amitabh Bachchan ) must be tall, handsome, well dressed, distinguished and so is depicted in the film. The God wears suit and of course do anything he wishes to.  Arun Prajapati ( Salman Khan ) is in serious situation in the film. His life has lost control, he loses his job and also his girlfriend but he always blames God for all of his miserable condition. The hot and beautiful girl Alia Kapoor ( Priyanka Chopra ) is very sweet and pretty. Inspite of his condition, she loves Arun for him being good at heart. The other character in the film is Rocky ( Sohail Khan )  who is smart and a London returned guy.

Rocky just wants to achieve all his wishes and he can do this either by fair means or by unclean methods. Arun is a TV anchor but was not able to find success at any point of his life. He is in deep love with a colleague Alia but can’t express his love to her. His love life only degrades as Rocky gets appointed as an anchor and Arun loses his job. He blames the God for his critical situation. But soon he gets a chance to meet the God, who then decides to give all his powers to Arun for seven days as Arun believes that he can run the earth better than the God. He solves all his and other’s problems. He finds himself in a web when he starts granting wishes to everyone.
