The action movie Gora was released on October 2, 1987. The movie was directed by Desh Gautam and produced by R K Mehta. The major roles in the film were played by Rajesh Khanna, Pran, Om Puri and Raj Kiran while the roles of Ramesh Deo and Preeti Sapru were equally important. The music of the film was directed by Usha Khanna while the songs were sung by Mohammed Aziz, Manhar Udhas, Vinod Rathod, Alisha Chinai, Kavita Krishnamoorty and Sarika Kapoor.

The movie took very long time to be able to be released finally in the year of 1987. The movie also showcases the concept of robbers and crime sequences. The plot is where it lacked something. The movie had nothing more to offer than the police chasing the gangsters’ cars. The music as well as the direction was not upto the mark. The only thing to be enjoyed in the movie was the role of Rajesh Khanna.
