Gunaah was a crime thriller released on September 20, 2002 under the banner of Vishesh Films. The movie was directed by Amol Shetge and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The main roles in the film were played by Dino Morea, Ashutosh Rana, Bipasha Basu and Irrfan Khan while the presence of Avtar Gill and Vishwajeet Pradhan supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Sajid-Wajid and the songs were sung by Neeraj Shridhar, Udit Narayan, Khadija Haider, Sukhwinder Singh and Shadaab Sabri.

The movie Gunaah directed by Amol Shetge, saw the winning combination of Raaz, producer Mukesh Bhatt and enacted by Bipasha Basu, Dino Morea and Ashutosh Rana. Gunaah is the story of honest police officer played by Bipasha Basu and a criminal played by model turned actor Dino Morea. Though the cop Prabha ( Bipasha ) is tough but is haunted by her past, that she is the illegitimate daughter of a prostitute.

Prabha’s childhood was so horrible that she was once driven to commit a murder but now when she is a brave cop, she believes that one should remove the crime by reforming the criminal and not eliminating him. Her world takes a turn when she comes across Aditya ( Dino Morea ) who is a good man at heart but was forced to take the path of crime due to the corrupt system. Prabha goes to Aditya’s house to catch him but gets carried when she cees him bathing. Aditya flees from there and this followed a pursuit in which he saves her life.
