Bollywood action drama, Hadh: Life On The Edge Of Death, directed by Thampi Kamnnanthanam was released in the year 2001. The movie starred Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Jhulka in lead roles while Vikram Ghokle, Suman Ranganathan, Sharad kapoor, Shama Deshpande and Tej Sapru also played important characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was directed by the well known music director Viju Shah while the songs were rendered by Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik etc.

The movie starts with a guy, who has been betrayed and abandoned by everyone. He find solace after coming in contact with Hajibaba. Hajibaba decides to take care of him and also give him a new name Vishwa. Hajibaba runs an orphanage and there are three other childrens living there named Dalal ( Kiran Kumar ), Chotey ( Tej Sapru ) and Shiva ( Sharad Kapoor ). Years later, now all of them are grown up guys. But Hajibaba’s more love for Vishwa results in the hatred of the Dalal and Chotey for Vishwa.

This hatred results in the murder of Hajibaba from the hands of Dalal. Then Vishwa is framed in the murder case of Hajibaba. Vishwa is arrested by police and is sentenced to jail for five longe years. After completing his prison time, Vishwa is released from the jail. Now Vishwa has only one motive of his life to avenge the death of Hajibaba from Dalal and Chotey. His friend, Shiva is also with him in this.
