Hamesha is a drama released on September 12, 1997. The movie was directed by Sanjay Gupta and was produced by G P Sippy. The major roles in the movie were played by Saif Ali Khan, Kajol and Aditya Pancholi. Some good roles were played by Aruna Irani, Kader Khan and Milind Gunaji. The music of the movie was given by Anu Malik and Salim Merchant. The singers were Udit Narayan, Sadhna Sargam, Abhijeet, Alka Yagnik and Ila Arun.

The movie opens with two best friends Raja ( Saif Ali Khan ) and Yash ( Aditya Pancholi ). Yash belongs to a rich family on the other hand Raja is poor. Now both fell in love with the same girl Rani ( Kajol ), but she loves Raja. Yash is jealous of their relationship and kills Raja. All this was a blow to Rani and she commits suicide. Yash is alone with the memories of his friend and beloved in the huge world.

Now the twist arises with the reincarnation of the three, Raja as Raju, Rani as Reshma and Yash as Yash Vardhan. Now, Yash meets Reshma and wants to marry her and she faces up to Raju and fells in love with him. Again a love triangle is formed and Reshma’s paranormal memory retains what all happened with her in her previous life and she explains it all to Raju. This time Raju did not the same to happen so he killed Yash to get Reshma.
