Bollywood fantasy flick, Hari Darshan, directed by Chandrakant was released in the year 1972. The movie starred Satyajeet and Saroja Devi in lead roles while Abhi Bhattarcharya, Dara Singh, Babu Raje, Mehmood Junior and Randhawa also played important roles in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by the well known veteran music director duo Kalyanji-Anandji while the songs were rendered by Mahendra Kapoor, Lata Mangeshkar, Hemlata, Sushma Shreshta etc.

The movie starts with Hari Bhakt Prahlad ( Satyajeet ) whose devotion to Bhagwan Vishnu is an exception. No one can distract him from his devotion. His father, Lord Hiranyakashyap ( Randhawa ) wants Prahlad to starts worshipping him only. But Prahlad refuse to to do sso. Hiranyakashyap becomes furious to this refusal of his son as no one in his kingdom can dare to worship someone else other than him. But being his father, he sends Prahlad to a school so that the teachers can teach him to worship him only but oppsoite to this, Prahlad manage to get everyone in the school to also worship Bhagwan Vishnu alongwith him.

This fact enrages his father Hiranyakashyap even more. He decides to kill Prahlad and in this he takes help of his sister. His sister has been blesses with the power that no fire can burn her. So it is decided that his sister will make Prahlad sit on her lap in the fire. Prahlad and Hiranyakashyap’s sister sits on the fire but instead of Prahld, his sister is burnt alive.
