Hari Puttar - A Comedy of Terrors is comic movie that is presently under production and will be releasing on September 19, 2008 uner the banner of Mirchi Movies Limited. The movie is being directed by Lucky Kohli and Rajesh Bajaj and produced by Lucky Kohli, Munish Purii and A P Parigi. The lead characters in the film are played by Sarika, Jackie Shroff and Zain Khan while significant characters were also played by Vijay Raaz, Lilette Dubey and Swini Khara. The music of the film has been directed by Aadesh Shrivastav and Guru Sharma and the songs were sung by Aadesh Shrivastav, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan and Shreya Ghosal.

Hari Puttar is a comic movie being produced based completely on the theme of Hollywood’s ht movie Home Alone where a small child protects his house from few burglars. The story of the movie revolves around a 10 year old kid and his 6 year old cousin who prevents the cunning burglars to enter the house and steal a confidential chip. Hari Prasad Dhoonda ( Zain Khan ) shifts to India from U.K. with his parents ( Sarika and Zakir Khan ). His father is working on a confidential project with Defense forces and the secret information is stored on a chip kept safely in his house.

Prof. Dhoonda’s house was soon visited by Hari’s aunt ( Lilette Dubey ) and uncle DK ( Jackie Shroff ) along with DK’s boss’ children. The house was filled of almost 10 children and life for Hari get in a mess. He was thrown out of his room to accommodate other children and was also ragged by the bully children. DK plans a vacation for the whole family and they leave in a hurry missing something behind. They realized that they missed Hari and his little cousin Tuk Tuk ( Swini Khara ) when they were halfway into their journey. Don Kali Mirchi sends burglars ( Saurabh Shukla and Vijay Raaz ) to steal the chip but were foxed by Hari and his cousin.
