Bollywood action flick, Himmat, directed by Ravindra Nagaich and written by S. M. Abbas was released in the year 1970. The movie starred Jeetendra and Mumtaz in lead roles while Aruna Irani, Prem Chopra, Praveen paul, Kumari Naaz, Asit Sen, Prabhakar Reddy, Jagdeep and K. N. Singh also played significant characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was composed by the veteran music director duo Laxmikant Pyarelal while the songs were rendered by Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle etc.

Raghu ( Jeetendra ) works as a truck driver and delivers goods from one place to another. He come across a guy, who ask for a life from him. Raghu gives him the lift but get shocked when the guy truns out to be a beautiful woman in disguise named Malti ( Mumtaz ). Rahu also reveals about the prize money announced for finding Malti. He takes her alongwith him to claim that award. But when he sees the suspicious behaviour of the guy named Raju, who has announced the reward of Malti, he refuse to leave Malti there.

Raghu and Malti then falls in love with each other and deicdes to get married. Malthi gets pregnant and gives birth to a child. But their life gets upturned when a police inpector named Mathur ( K. N. Singh ) enters in their life. Mathur knows about the past life of Raghu. Raghu was a criminal in his past life. Mathur refuse to believe that raghu has given up his old profession. What will happen next?
