Hote Hote Pyaar Ho Gaya was a romantic action movie released on July 2, 1999. The movie was directed by Feroze Irani and produced by Ashutosh Bajpay and Pradeep Jain. The lead roles in the movie were played by Jackie Shroff, Atul Agnihotri, Kajol and Ayesha Jhulka while the supporting roles were played by Aruna Irani and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. The music of the film was directed by Anand Raj Anand and the songs were sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sadhana Sargam, Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Poornima.

Hote Hote Pyaar Ho Gaya was just another bollywood movie that reminds us of the old movie Shriman Shrimati in which the modern thinking man wanted a modern thinking woman while the simple and traditional man wanted a traditional woman, but the twist was that theu ended right the opposite of it. The movie is about an outspoken and modern lady Pinky ( Kajol ) daughter of retired colonel ( Kulbhushan Kharbanda ). She come across Bunty ( Atul Agnihotri ) and it was the day when their love story began.

Bunty was engaged to Shobha ( Ayesha Jhulka ) who is a tradiotioal woman for whom her husband comes at the first place. Pinky gets married to a police officer Arjun ( Jackie Shroff ). Pinky and Bunty wanted to marry each other but they realized that if they don’t follow their parents’ decisions then they could be out on the road. Bunty’s aunt ( Aruna Irani ) comes to rescue to their problem. She has a plan for the love birds which was to marry their partners chosen for them and then create a situation to get divorce.
