The movie Hulla is ready to release and will be releasing on September 12, 2008 under the banner of Handmade Films. The movie is being directed by Jaideep Varma and produced by Sunil Doshi. The main roles in the movie are being played by Rajat Kapoor, Vrajesh Hirjee, Sushant Singh and Mandeep Mazumdar. There were also special appearances by Darshan Jariwala and Ravi Jhankal. The music of the movie is being directed by Indian Ocean.

The story of the movie is about a couple Raj and Abha who are married in their early thirties. The couple was so disturbed by the noise and other disturbances in the city that they decided to move into a new 2-bedroom flat in a Mumbai in hopes of getting some peace and quietness. Raj is an aggressive person by nature and is a broker working in some broking firm while Abha is a marketing professional. They both are doing great in their respective fields. They both love each other yet they have no children at present. Their life seems to have been perfectly balanced with proper balance between their work and domestic life.

The twist in the tale comes when Raj gets disturbed by some strange and screechy noise that irritates and wakes him up. Abha was unmoved from this but troubled Raj much. Raj decided to figure it out the reason for the noise. He comes to know that the noise was of the whistle of the security guard which he blow to scare the thieves away. The night guard Matthew takes him to Janardhan, the secretary of the society, who has passed the orders of the whistling. Janardhan refuses to cancel out the orders as he feels that the security of the society is before the comforts of the individuals. This raises Raj’s problems.
