The romantic movie Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye has been released on 14th April, 2006. The movie was directed by Raj Kanwar and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The lead roles were enacted by Akshay Kumar, Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif while supporting roles were played by Manoj Joshi, Delnaz Paul and Upasna Singh. The music of the movie was directed by Anu Malik and Himmesh Reshammiya while the songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Tulsi Kumar, KK, Krishna and Anu Malik.

The musical romantic movie Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye has been released after the success of the movie Andaaz and also features Salman Khan and Bhagyashree in special roles. The lives of all the individuals are regulated by love in some or the other way and this is displayed in the film with the characters of Aditya ( Akshay Kumar ) and Jia ( Katrina Kaif ). The destiny plays a cupid by making both of them meet again and again until they fall in love with each other. Aditya works as an automobile engineer in a car company and is very passionate about the cars.

Initially Aditya is engaged to Sonia ( Bipasha Basu ) who is an aspiring fashion designer. They both were quite different as Sonia was passionate about her career while Aditya believed in traditions. Aditya reaches Canada to attend the lauch of a new car. There he comes across Jia, daughter of a business tycoon A.J. Yashwardhan, who was there to shop for her marriage with another businessman. Slowly and steadily they become great friends, even certain situations arises when they shared intimate moments that made them forget that they were engaged but not with each other.
