The action thriller Hum Se Hai Zamana was released on September 23, 1983. The movie was directed as well as produced by Deepak Bahry. The key roles in the movie were enacted by Mithun Chakraborty, Amjad Khan, Zeenat Aman and Danny Denzongpa while Shreeram Lagoo, Kajal Kiran, Sonu Nigam, Asha Lata, Bob Christo, Seema Deo and C S Dube were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Ram Lakshman while the songs were sung by Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle.

The movie Hum Se Hai Zamana was an action film that revolved mostly around a man named Thakur ( Kamal Kapoor ) who was fed up of his older wife ( Poornima ) and her son. Thus he remarries another woman ( Seema Deo ) who is much younger than him and after that he throws his old wife and son out of their big house. His employees who were led by Kalicharan ( Shreeram Lagoo ) go on strike demanding high pay and other benefits to them but this was not liked by Thakur.

Thakur had a plan in his mind which was to invite Kalicharan to talk to him and then he offers him huge amount of money but when he refused it, Thakur has him killed. His second wife gives birth to a baby girl, Nisha ( Zeenat Aman ), and passes away. But some years later he started facing problems in his life and feels that it was due to the sons of Kalicharan, Shiva and Karan, along with their widowed mother who are seeking revenge from him.
